NTC Baseball Tournament Pairings Released

Drawing the top seed was Effingham St. Anthony followed by Altamont, South Central, Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, Dieterich, North Clay (Louisville), Neoga, Brownstown/St. Elmo and Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City.

The opening contest will feature Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City at Brownstown/St. Elmo at 4 p.m. Friday.

Monday's games will have the winner of the first contest at St. Anthony, Dieterich at WSS, Neoga at Altamont and North Clay at South Central, all 4 p.m. games.

The winners advance to Wednesday at 4 p.m.  with the winners of games 2 and 3 meeting at 4 p.m. and the winners of games 4 and 5 meeting, also at 4 p.m. Losers advance to the third place game at 10 a.m. and winners to the championship game at noon, scheduled to be played at Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg Saturday.

St. Anthony and Altamont finished the NTC season with 7-1 records followed by South Central and Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg 6-2, Dieterich, North Clay and Neoga 3-5,  BSE 1-7 and CHBC 0-8.

Game 5 -- North Clay at South Central, 4 p.m.

Game 6 -- Winner Game 2 vs. Winner Game 3, 4 p.m.

Game 7 -- Winner Game 4 vs. Winner Game 5, 4 p.m.

Game 8 -- Loser Game 6 vs. Loser Game 7, TBD (third place)
