Wooden Shoes Take DH Win Over Putnam Co.

The Wooden Shoes blanked the Panthers, 11-0 in the opening contest. T-town struck early with a 5-0 opening inning lead and never looked back.
T-town had 12 hits in the contest as Mitch Koester and Devin Kreke had a single, double and an RBI each. Conner Siemer had a triple and two RBI, Garrett Gaddis a double, Logan Roepke two singles and two RBI and Ben Goeckner two singles and an RBI.
Logan Lawson was the winning pitcher, going the entire five innings, allowing no runs on two hits, three walks while striking out seven. He is now 4-1 on the season.
In the second game, the Wooden Shoes won 13-2 in six innings.
Once again, T-town had its hitting shoes on with 12 in the contest. Tyler Pruemer led the way with two singles, a double and three RBI, Hunter Stewart a double and two RBI, Brett Kreke a double and an RBI, Zac Niebrugge three singles and an RBI, Alex Kremer two singles and an RBI and Jake Bushur had two RBI.
Kremer picked up the pitching win, going five innings allowing two runs on seven hits, two walks and striking out five.
T-town is now 13-8 on the season.
