Dodgers' Maury Wills Dies At Age 89

Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Maury Wills, known as a master of the art of base-stealing, has died at his home in Sedona, Arizona, at the age of 89.

Wills joined the Dodgers in June 1959. In 1962, he stole bases 104 times, breaking a record set by Ty Cobb in 1915. He was named the league’s most valuable player in 1962.
