The Cardinals had eight hits in the contest and were aided by four Wooden Shoes errors. Alex Boose had a double while Ian Jones had two singles and an RBI and Cody Zimdars two singles.
K. Craig went four innings, allowing one run on three hits, three walks and three strikeouts for the win on the mound. Jones came on to finish out the final three innings, allowing no runs on one hit, one walk and one strikout.
The Cardinals moved ahead in the second then tacked on a single run in the third and three in the fourth.
T-town had four hits led by Devin Kreke with a single and double.

Brownstown/St. Elmo ended this game in five innings over Ramsey, 10-0.
The Bombers stepped out to a 6-0 opening inning lead then ended the game with a four-run fourth.
Jarrett Pasley had a hot bat with a single and two doubles. Kyle Behl added a double. Lane Stine had two singles and three RBI while Wyatt Stine had a single and two RBI. Wyatt Forbes also had an RBI with a single.
Brownstown/St. Elmo is now 7-7 on the season and won the Egyptian-Illini Conference regular season title with a 3-0 record. BSE is back in action today at Neoga.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City held a 1-0 lead after four innings but Mulberry Grove tied in the fifth and then scored seven runs in the seventh for an 8-1 victory Thursday.
Both teams had seven hits. CHBC finished with three errors.
Gage Lorton had a triple for the Bobcatrs while Clayton Wojcik had two singles.
