Minor League Players Joining Union; Cards, Cubs Win

Minor league baseball players officially joined a union Wednesday. An arbitrator validated the union authorization cards submitted by 5,000 players.

They’re joining the Major League Baseball Players Association. Their first collective bargaining agreement will be negotiated after the season ends.
