Teutopolis Junior High Conference Champions

Teutopolis Junior High School finished as the conference champions. 

Teutopolis downed Effingham in junior high baseball action Wednesday, 6-2 to finish as the conference champions.

Teutopolis took a 1-0 first inning lead, tacked on two in the second, one in the fourth and finished out with two in the sixth. Effingham's runs came in the seventh.

R. Bloemer was the winner on the mound going three innings allowing no runs on no hits, four walks and two strikeouts. E. Bloemer came on to finish out the final four innings allowing one run on one hit.

R. Bloemer had two singles, a double and two RBI while H. Tebbe had two singles and M. Habing a double and an RBI.

Teutopolis has previous wins over Mattoon, Charleston, Taylorville and St. Anthony to go undefeated in the conference.
