Neoga Trounces Ramsey, 15-1 In Baseball

RAMSEY -- Neoga High School trounced Ramsey, 15-1 in baseball action Wednesday.

Both teams went scoreless in the first two innings before Neoga broke loose with three runs in the third then tacked on four in the fourth, two in the sixth and six in the seventh.

James Ballinger went 3.2 innings allowing no runs on one hit, one walk while striking out six for the pitching win.

Malachi Staszak and Quintin Richards led the way offensively for the Indians with a single, double, triple and two RBI each. Ballinger chipped in with a double and two RBI and Trey Sheehan had two singles and three RBI.
