St. Anthony captured the Wooden Bat championship.
The St. Anthony Bulldogs won the 2022 Teutopolis Wooden Bat Classic Saturday.
St. Anthony won their opener 2-0 over Teutopolis as Brock Fearday pitched a no-hitter for the Bulldogs.
Dieterich then defeated North Clay/Clay City 8-2 as Garrett Niebrugge tossed a one-hitter for the Movin Maroons.
In the consolation championship game, Teutopolis came from behind to defeat North Clay/Clay City 14-8.
In the championship game, St. Anthony beat Dieterich in a real seesaw affair, 8-4.
St. Anthony finished the day 2-0, Dieterich and Teutopolis each went 1-1, and North Clay/Clay City finished 0-2.
