The Chicago Cubs defeated the St. Louis Cardinals 7-1 Wednesday night at Wrigley Field.
Luke Farrell was called up to make the start for the Cubs, his first appearance since 2018, and allowed one run in 4-1/3 innings.
Zach McKinstry hit a two-run home run and Yan Gomes drove in two runs as the Cubs knotted the series at two wins apiece. Game 5 is at 1:20pm today.

Also Wednesday, the Chicago White Sox defeated Baltimore 5-3.
