The Atlanta Braves defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 9-2 in Game 4 and are now one win away from their first trip to the World Series.

Eddie Rosario and Adam Duvall got the Braves off in the right direction with back-to-back home runs in the second inning. Rosario finished with a single, triple and two home runs. He tallied four RBI. Freddie Freeman had a solo shot in the third and an RBI double in the ninth.

Atlanta pitcher Huascar Ynoa was out of the game due to a shoulder problem. Jesse  Chavez stepped in and retired the Dodgers in order in the first inning.

After that start, Drew Smyly came to the mound for the Braves allowing two runs. Then right-hander Chris Martin took over in the fifth. A.J. Minter, Tyler Matzek and Will Smith went the rest of the game on the mound.

Astros Steamroll Red Sox

The Houston Astros steamrolled the Boston Red Sox 9-1 in Game 5 of the American League Championship Series.

Framber Valdez is getting a lot of the credit. That means the team heads back to Houston with a 3-2 series lead and a real chance at a third World Series in five years.
