St. Anthony Wins in Eight Over CHBC; Altamont, North Clay, Windsor/Stew-Stras Also Win in NTC Tourney Quarterfinals

It took eight innings, but St. Anthony came from behind to defeat Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City 3-2 in quarterfinal action Monday in the National Trail Conference Baseball Tournament. The game was heard on 979XFM and www.979xfm.com. 

In other action Monday, top-seeded North Clay defeated Dieterich 10-0, Altamont defeated South Central 3-1, and Windsor/Stew-Stras blanked Brownstown/St. Elmo 10-0. The Altamont/South Central game was heard on KJ Country 102.3 and www.kjcountry.com. 

In semifinal action Wednesday, Altamont will play at North Clay at 4pm and Windsor/Stew-Stras will play at St. Anthony at 4pm. Hear the Indians and Cardinals on KJ Country 102.3 and the Bulldogs and the Hatchets on 979XFM.
