Effingham St. Anthony tallied a 14-0 win over Odin in high school baseball compeition Monday.

The Bulldogs edged out to a 1-0 first inning lead then had a six-run second, a three-run third and a four-run fourth.

St. Anthony's bats produced 11 hits in the contest led by Brody Niebrugge with two singles, a double and three RBI Eli Link with a single, triple and an RBI and Angelo Mendella and Eli Levitt with a double and an RBI each. Brock Fearday contributed two singles.

Fearday picked up the win on the mound, going four innings allowing no runs on four hits, no walks and striking out two.

Parrish led Odin with two singles.

At Centralia

Altamont knocked in seven runs in the first on its way to a 12-3 victory over Centralia Christ Our Rock Lutheran Monday.

Tyler Robbins, Kienon Eirhart, Wyatt Phillips, Nathan Stuemke, Mason Winn and Jared Hammer each drove in runs during the frame.

Dillan Elam earned the victory on the mound. Elam went five innings, allowing two runs on five hits and striking out nine. Aden McManaway threw two innings in relief.

The Indians finished with 15 hits on the day. Hammer had a single, double and two RBI, Mason Robinson a single, double and an RBI, Elam three singles, McManaway two singles, T. Robbins a double and an RBI, Phillips a single and two RBI and Kaidyn Miller two RBI.

Altamont is back in action today at South Central with a junior varsity start at 4:30 p.m. and the varsity start around 7 p.m.

At Strasburg

Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg played host to Neoga and send the Indians home with an 11-2 loss Monday.

WSS had a 12-hit offensive contest. Sam Vonderheide knocked out a home run and had two RBI while Gavin Wernsing had two singles, a double and an RBI. Austin Wittenberg chipped in with a single, double and three RBI and Graham Kasey two singles. Jordan Wittenberg added a double and an RBI.

Neoga had five hits led by Ryan Koester with a double and an RBI.

Kendall Morris was the winning pitcher. He came on in relief in the fifth and did not allow a hit or walk while striking out five.

North Clay (Louisville) defeated Webber/Wayne City, 14-3 in five innings Monday.

The Cardinals improved to 7-0 in the National Trail Conference, 21-1 overall. North Clay is back in action today at Dieterich in a 4:30 p.m. contest.
