Altamont Wins Over St. Anthony 7-1

The Altamont Indians downed the St. Anthony Bulldogs 7-1 Wednesday. The game was heard on KJ Country 102.3 and www.kjcountry.com. 

The Indians jumped out in front 2-0 in the third inning, then added to their lead with two more runs in the fifth and wrapped up their scoring with three runs in the sixth. St. Anthony scored its lone run in the sixth.

Altamont got nine hits in the contest, including two each from Mason Robinson and Tyler Robbins. Will Hoene had three hits for the Bulldogs and Brody Niebrugge had two.

Jared Hammer got the win for Altamont, allowing just the one run, which was unearned, on five hits and a walk with six strikeouts. Dylan Elam pitched the final inning, allowing a hit and a walk with one strikeout.

Brady Hatton took the loss for St. Anthony, allowing two unearned runs on three hits in four innings of work, walking one and fanning three. Eli Link pitched an inning and gave up two runs on three hits and a walk. Brock Jansen threw the final inning, allowing three runs on three hits and two walks with a strikeout.
