South Central defeated Teutopolis 7-4 in action Monday.

Teutopolis had a 4-1 lead in the fourth, but South Central scored five runs in the fifth and sixth innings to post the comeback win.

Eight team banged out eight hits.

Seth Johannes got the win in relief for the Cougars, while Kayden Althoff took the loss for the Shoes.

South Central is now 8-2, while Teutopolis is 3-7 on the fall.

Anthony Buonaura homered twice for South Central and drove in four runs and Aiden Dodson added another dinger. Kayden Althoff had three hits for the Shoes.

North Clay stayed unbeaten with a 12-0 five-inning win over Odin. The Cardinals are now 13-0 this season, 5-0 in National Trail Conference play.
