STRASBURG -- Aaron White improved his pitching record to 4-1 and Gunner Theis had a whopping seven RBI as Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg blanked Dieterich 9-0 in high school baseball action Monday.
White pitched a four-hitter with no walks and struck out six batters. Meanwhile, Theis had two home runs in the contest, a two-run homer in the third and a grand slam in the sixth. Leasher had two hits and an RBI.
The Movin' Maroons were led by J. Bohnhoff and Traub with two hits each.
Windsor/Stew-Stras improved to 13-4 on the season.

South Central stepped out to a 5-0 lead and went on to down Vandalia 11-3.
Kyle Bray was the winning pitcher going four innings, allowing two hits, three walks and striking out six to improve to 2-0 on the season.
Fischar Tharp led the Cougars offensively with two singles, a double and an RBI. Dan Diss and Shawn Meyer had two singles each. Meyer added an RBI.

Count em' up . . . 18 hits as the Wooden Shoes of Teutopolis trounced Charleston 15-4 in five innings. T-town banged out four home runs, one a grand slam, a triple and three doubles.
Charleston held a 3-1 first inning lead but that only added fuel to the fire as the Shoes went on a hitting rampage and when the dust had cleared, led 8-3 after two, 10-3 after three and added on a run in the fourth and four in the fifth.
Jared Waldhoff led T-town with a single, double and a grand slam home run. Chase Wendling hit a two-run homer, along with a double and had two RBI, Bobby Wenthe a single and a solo shot with an RBI and Derek Smith a two-run homer in the fifth.
T-town improved to 13-2 and is back in action today, weather permitting, against Effingham St. Anthony.

The Eagles of St. Elmo stepped out to a quick 2-0 lead and went on to down Cisne 9-1. St. Elmo added a two-run second and a five-run fourth.
Both teams had four hits in the contest. Levi Maxey improved his pitching record to 1-1 allowing three hits and striking out nine.
Nick Bauer had a single, double and three RBI for St. Elmo while Maxey had a single. The Eagles improve to 4-4.

It was a matter of who would outlast who in this one as Cumberland finally came out with an 11-10 victory over Casey-Westfield in Little Illini Conference action.
The Pirates held a 2-0 first inning lead and led 6-0 after two. Cumberland had a 10-3 lead in the third but here came the Warriors, scoring six runs in the fifth to pull within 10-9. But Cumberland tallied a run in the bottom of the seventh before Casey-Westfield finished out with a run in the top of the seventh.
Holden Elwood had a single, two doubles and five RBI while Tyler Godden added two singles and three RBI and Cody Hornbeck two singles. The Pirates improve to 5-9.
