Mattoon had 11 hits in the contest while the Mustangs had eight.

Sigel St. Michael trailed Brownstown/St. Elmo until the fourth inning then took off for a 16-10 victory Wednesday.
BSE held a 6-3 lead after two innings before St. Michael tied in the top of the third then took the lead for good with three runs in the fourth.
The Sharpshooters had 10 hits led by A. Mayer with two singles, a home run and four RBI, M. Platz with two singles, a double and three RBI, B. Niebrugge with two singles and two RBI and B. Niebrugge with a double and an RBI.
BSE was led by H. Poe with two singles, a double and three RBI and L. Powell with two singles.
