BSE Claims High School Baseball Win

CENTRALIA -- Neither team scored through the first three innings but Brownstown/St. Elmo broke lose with six runs in the fourth and tacked on two in the seventh to blank Centralia Christ Our Rock Lutheran, 8-0 in high school baseball action Tuesday.

Dalton Myers went the whole seven innings on the mound, throwing  a two-hitter with one walk and 13 strikeouts.

Wyatt Forbes led the hitting attack with two doubles. Brady Maxey had a single and two RBI while Adam Atwood had a single and an RBI. Five other players had a single each.

The game was the season-opener for BSE who returns to action Thursday hosting Wayne City/Webber Co-op in a 4:30 p.m. contest.
