T-town was an 11-3 winner over Casey-Westfield. The Wooden Shoes broke a 1-1 opening inning tie with two runs in the second and held an 8-3 lead in the fourth then added on three more runs in the sixth.
The Shoes had nine hits led by Gavin Addis and Jason Kreke with a single and double each and Joey Probst with two singles.
T-town fell to Mount Zion 5-0. Mount Zion took a 2-0 first inning lead and had a three-run fifth.
Kreke had a single and double for the Shoes.
T-town then blanked Effingham 10-0 behind 10 hits. Addis had a single, double and an RBI while Kreke had two doubles and three RBI, Cody Hemmen a double and an RBI and Ben Grunloh two singles and two RBI.
Effingham was led by Flack with two singles.
Effingham handed Mount Zion a 2-0 loss.
Braddy and Hayes combined to throw a no-hitter.
Braddy was the winning pitcher, going 5.1 innings allowing no hits, two walks and six strikeouts. Hayes came on to throw 1.2 innings allowing no hits and striking out two.
Boehm had a double while Tucker had two singles and an RBI.

At Atlamont
Jasper County claimed the championship of the Altamont Opening Day Tournament Saturday.
Jasper County opened the meet with a 10-0 win over Altamont.
David Ferguson threw a one-hitter for the win, allowing one hit, no walks and striking out six. Cade Clark finished out the final inning allowing no hits, one walk and striking out three.
Ferguson led in hitting with two doubles and an RBI while Reed Tharp had two singles and three RBI.
Altamont's lone hit was a double by B. Wendling.
In the second contest, Dieterich handed Brownstown/St. Elmo, a 9-0 loss.
D. Ashley went 3.1 innings for Dieterich on the mound allowing no hits, one walk and striking out six for the win. French finished out 1.2 innings allowing one hit, two walks and striking out three.
Dieterich had six hits led by Ashley with a single, double and three RBI, A. Hall with two singles and C. Baxter with a double and an RBI.
BSE was led by Rogers with a single.
In the third place contest, Altamont downed BSE, 10-3.
The Wildcats ran off to a 7-1 opening inning lead and never looked back despite being outhit by a 4-1 count.
The lone hit was a single by Kooper Beccue.
BSE was led by J. Gillespie and R. Powell with a single and an RBI each.
In the title contest, Jasper County was a 5-1 winner over Dieterich.
Dieterich edged out to a 1-0 first inning lead and held that until the fourth when Jasper County tallied three runs and added two more in the fifth.
Jasper County had five hits led by Ferguson with a single, triple and three RBI and Wolf with a double.
Dieterich had seven hits led by Hall with a single and two doubles and Boerngen a double.

At Cowden
The Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Tournament took place Saturday.
In the first contest, CHBC defeated Mulberry Grove, 13-4. CHBC held a 5-4 lead after two innings then added on three in the third and five in the fourth.
Kale Hardimon led the winners with two singles and an RBI.
In the second game, Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg defeated Effingham Sacred Heart, 4-1.
In the third place game, Sacred Heart pounded Mulberry Grove, 14-0.
In the championship, WSS won over CHBC, 15-0. WSS took a 4-0 first inning lead then ended the game with 11 runs in the second.
Beals had a single double and three RBI for the winners while Sayers, Spour and W. Wetherell had two singles and an RBI each.
Dirk Friese threw a one-hitter.

Effingham St. Anthony blanked Sullivan, 10-0 in a Saturday contest.
The Bullpups edged out to a 1-0 lead in the second inning then tallied seven in the third and ended the game via the 10-run rule in the fourth with two.
St. Anthony had seven hits led by C. Hartmann with two singles and L. Gannaway and E. Link with a single and three RBI each.
St. Anthony then fell to Jasper County, 13-3 win in four innings.
Jasper County had a 9-2 opening inning lead then tacked on a single run in the second, two in the third and one in the fourth.
Jasper County had nine hits led by Meinhart with a double, home run and five RBI, A. Reich with a double, triple and two RBI, A. Hermann with two singles and an RBI and M. Miller with two singles.

South Central picked up two victories in Saturday action.
South Central downed Greenville, 4-1 behind only one hit. Greenville finished with four errors and gave up six walks.
South Central broke a 1-1 tie with a single run in the fourth then added on insurance runs in the sixth and seventh.
T. Sidwell had the lone hit for South Central with a single.
