Dawson Smith Headed To U. of Houston

Dawson Smith is continuing his college baseball career at the University of Houston. Smith competed for Teutopolis High School on the 2019 state championship team. He went on to play for Kaskaskia College for two years before heading on to Houston.

"I am blessed and excited to say that I will be commttiing to the University of Houston to further my academics and baseball career," said Smith. "First I would like to thank God for this opportunity. I would also like to thank my famiy and all the coaches that have helped me along the way. Finally, I am very thankful for my time at Kaskaskia College and all they have done for me."
