The New York Yankees made their third triple play this season on Sunday, turning it against the Oakland A’s in the ninth inning to get the 2-1 win.

With men on first and second base, Sean Murphy grounded to Gio Urshela, who stepped on third base, threw to second baseman DJ Lamahieu who then threw to first base to just get Murphy.

The Yankees also had a triple play last Thursday and another May 21, trying the MLB record of three for a season, and making them all within one month.
