Reigning American League Cy Young winner Shane Bieber of the Cleveland Indians will be out for at least two weeks with a right shoulder strain, manager Terry Francona said Monday.

The Indians’ ace had an MRI after Sunday’s game, in which he gave up a season-high number of hits and threw 107 pitches over five innings, and it showed the muscle strain.
