Ozuna had been jailed since Saturday after police in Sandy Springs, Georgia, said that while responding to a 911 call, they saw him grab Genesis by the neck and throw her against a wall, and hit her with a cast on his injured left arm.
Major League Baseball will review the incident and Ozuna could be subject to a long suspension.
