North Clay Downs Dieterich In Baseball

The Cardinals tallied single runs in the first, second and third innings. Dieterich broke loose in the third with one run. North Clay scored three more in the fifth.

Both teams had six hits. North Clay was led by Brady Ingram with a single, home run and two RBI, Donnie Zimmerman with two singles, Dakota Weidner with a double and an RBI and Carson Burkett with a single and an RBI. Dakota Teague added an RBI.

Dieterich was led by Dalton Will with three singles and Pete Britton with two singles. Noah Dill had an RBI.

Zimmerman went five innings, allowing one run on five hits, no walks and nine strikeouts. Burkett finished out two innings allowing one hit and striking out four.
