Oakland A's Threaten To Go Play Elsewhere

The Oakland Athletics are threatening to pick up their ball and go play elsewhere if the city of Oakland doesn't move on a proposed new stadium.

The plan for a downtown stadium on the waterfront has been talked about for years. The latest proposal calls for a $12 billion waterfront development, including a commitment from the city for about $855 million. The A's have been in Oakland since 1968.


San Diego Shortstop Tests Positive For COVID-19

San Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Junior was placed on the injured list Tuesay after testing positive for COVID-19. The team has a contact-tracing program, so utility players Jurickson Profar and Jorge MateoJ got sidelined too.
