The Bulldogs stepped out to a 2-0 second inning lead then tacked on what would prove to be the winning run in the third. Mount Zion scored its two runs in the top of the sixth.
St. Anthony had three hits in the contest, Angelo Mendella and Seth Hotze with a double each and Will Hoene with a single. Hotze drove in two runs and Mendalla one. The Bulldogs drew five walks in the contest.
Hotze picked up the pitching win, going 5.1 innings, allowing three hits, two walks and struck out nine. Colton Fearday came on to finish out the contest going 1.2 innings, allowing one hit and striking out three.

Altamont High School pounded out 31 hits including four doubles and three home runs in trouncing Hutsonville/Palestine, 28-1 in four innings Tuesday.
The Indians took a 25-1 opening inning lead and tacked on three more in the fourth.

Eirhart a single, two doubles and an RBI, B. Stuemke, four singles, a double and two RBI, W. Schultz two singles and an RBI, J. Hammer two singles and an RBI, M. Robinson two singles and an RBI, J. Scott two singles and two RBI and N. Shepard two singles.
W. Schultz threw a two-hitter allowing three walks while striking out three.
