Cody Jansen, a Teutopolis High School graduate and a John A. Logan College baseball player, will be moving on to Saint Louis University's baseball squad.

"I'm excited to announce that I will be continuing my athletic and academic career at St. Louis University," said Jansen. "I'm thankful for everyone that's helped me along the way, especially my parents and coaches."

Jansen played in 47 games with a .341 batting average. He hit seven home runs, drove in 42 runs and had six stolen bases in his final year at John A. Logan.

John A. Logan was 4-2 before Covid ended the spring baseball season back in March.
