Hall of Famer Tonay La Russa was hired by the Chicago White Sox to be their manager. The 76-year-old began his managing career with the White Sox more than four decades ago, and is now returning with them to manage for the first time since he led the St. Louis Cardinals to a World Series title in 2011. He also won championships with the Oakland A’s in 1989 and the Cardinals in 2006.

Over his 33 seasons, La Russa won Manager of the Year four times.
