The Tampa Bay Rays defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 6-4 Wednesday night to even the World Series at one game each.

Tampa Bay second baseman Brandon Lowe hit two home runs, a solo shot in the first inning and a two-run homer in the fifth, while starter Blake Snell struck out nine Dodgers in four and two-thirds innings and didn't allow a hit until he gave up a two-run home run in the fifth.

Tampa Bay's bullpen fended off an attempted comeback by Los Angeles in the eighth inning and held on for the win. Game 3 is on Friday night.
