NTC Baseball Tournament Pairings Released

Drawing the No. 1 seed was Altamont followed by South Central, St. Anthony, North Clay (Louisville), Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, Neoga, Dieterich, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City and Brownstown/St. Elmo.

The tournament will open with a play-in game this Friday at 4 p.m. Brownstown/St. Elmo will travel to Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City for a 4 p.m. contest.

The winner of that game will face Altamont at 4 p.m. Monday. Other Monday games include Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg at North Clay, South Central at Dieterich and Neoga at St. Anthony.

The tournament will continue Wednesday, October 7 with the final four teams playing at the higher seed at 4 p.m.

The third place contest is scheduled for 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9 while the championship game is also scheduled for 4 p.m. The games will be played at the higher seeds.

Game 1 -- Brownstown/St. Elmo at Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, 4 p.m.

Monday, October 5

Game 2 -- Winner Game 1 at Altamont, 4 p.m.

Game 3 -- Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg at North Clay (Louisville), 4 p.m.

Game 4 -- South Central at Dieterich, 4 p.m.

Game 5 -- Neoga at St. Anthony, 4 p.m.

Wednesday, October 7

Game 7 -- Winner Game 2 vs. Winner Game 3, 4 p.m.

Game 8 -- Winner Game 4 vs. Winner Game 5, 4 p.m.

Friday, October 9

Game 9 -- Winner Game 6 vs. Winner Game 7, 4 p.m. (championship)

Game 10 -- Loser Game 6 vs. Loser Game 7, 4 p.m. (third place)
