MLB's Playoffs Will Begin Today

After a coronavirus-shortened 60-game season, Major League Baseball's playoffs will begin today, kicking off with four American League wild card series games.

The wild card series in each league will be best-of-three. There is an expanded 16-team playoffs this season as part of the pandemic-related changes.
