At Kinmundy
South Central tallied a 13-0 win over Brownstown/St. Elmo in junior high baseball Thursday.
South Central took a 3-0 opening inning lead, tallied four in the second and ended the game with six in the third.
Markley was the winning pitcher going two innings allowing no hits, four walks and striking out three. C. Smith went an inning allowing one hit and striking out one while L. Bursott finished out the final inning allowing one walk and striking out one.
South Central had eight hits led by Markley with three singles and an RBI, S. Jones with two singles and an RBI and Bursott with a single and two RBI.
The lone hit for BSE was a double by C. Hoopingarner.

At Sacred Heart
Effingham Sacred Heart blanked Dieterich, 10-0 in action Thursday.
The two teams went scoreless through the first three innings. The Shamrocks then tallied six in the fourth and four in the fifth to end the game by the 10-run rule.
Sparks and Wright had two singles and drove in two RBI each for the winners while Hecht had three singles and an RBI.
Wallace threw a two-hitter with three strikeouts.
Dieterich had singles by Baxter and Ashley.
