St. Thomas took an early 1-0 lead in the second but the Bullpups answered with three runs in the third and five in the fourth.
The Saints' top hitters were Drew Earnest and Alex Gier with two hits apiece. Earnest drove in two runs while Gier added an RBI.
T. Seiler led St. Anthony's 15-hit attack with three singles and an RBI. V. Vogel chipped in with two singles and three RBI.
St. Thomas falls to 1-3 on the season.
At Stewardson
Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg pulled out a 1-0 win over Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City in 11 innings of junior high baseball Friday.
"It was a fantastically played junior high baseball game," said CHBC Coach Brock Friese. "Both teams pitched and played defense extremely well."
The two teams went scoreless through 10 innings before WSS tallied a single run in the bottom of the 11th for the win. WSS' hurler, Jackson Gurgel, struck out 14 batters in his seven innings of work. WSS' relief pitcher Dirk Friese was equally dominating with seven strikeouts in four frames.
CHBC's pitchers Kyle Lamb and Wyatt Rueff struck out seven each.
Carter Verdeyen singled in the 11th for Windsor/Stew-Stras and stole second. Beals laid down a sacrifice bunt. In an attempt to get Beals out, CHBC threw to first but the throw tipped off the top of the first baseman's glove and Verdeyen came in to score. That was the lone error for CHBC.
Both teams had five hits. WSS had singles by Colton Bridges, Kendal Morris, Carter Verdeyen, Hank Verdeyen and Blaze Verdeyen.
CHBC was led by Kaidyn Calame and AJ Radloff with two singles each. CHBC dropped to 2-2 in the National Trail Conference, 2-3 overall.

At Brownstown
Brownstown/St. Elmo tallied a 10-9 victory over Altamont in National Trail Conference action Friday.
Altamont took a 3-1 lead in the second inning. BSE came back to lead 5-3 in the fourth and 9-4 in the sixth. Altamont tied at 9-9 in the top of the seventh before BSE scored the winning run in the bottom of the frame.
BSE was led by R. Powell with three singles and two RBI, G. Wilhour and L. Powell with two singles each. L. Powell had an RBI and L. Wilhour had a double and two RBI.
Altamont was led by B. Wendling with a single, double and an RBI, T. Tedrick with two singles and an RBI and Z. Schafer with a double and two RBI.
