The Movin' Maroons took a 3-0 lead in the third inning and was never behind. Austin Ruholl and Garrett Niebrugge had a single and double each for the winners. Ruholl drove in three runs while Niebrugge had two RBI. Braden Shadle added a double and an RBI and Dalton Will had three singles.
St. Elmo/Brownstown had seven hits led by Brady Maxey with two singles, a double and an RBI and Dalton Myers with a double.
Pete Britton picked up the win in the mound going six innings allowing seven hits, three runs, no walks and struck out 10 batters.
BSE drops to 0-2 in the National Trail Conference, 0-3 overall.

Altamont banged out 14 hits and scored 16 runs in a 16-3 National Trail Conference win over Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Saturday
CHBC took a 3-1 opening inning lead and led 3-2 after three innings. But Altamont broke loose with three runs in the fourth, five in the sixth and six in the seventh.
Tyler Robbins had two doubles and drove in a run for the winners while Mason Robinson had two singles, a double and four RBI. Bradin Baucum added a single, double and two RBI. Brayden Stuemke finished with two singles and an RBI. Zeke Rippetoe added a double and an RBI and Logan Cornett a single, double and two RBI.
Jared Hammer was the winning pitcher going four innings, allowing two hits, two walks and striking out eight.
CHBC had four hits led by Buzzard with a single and double and Doty with a triple and an RBI.
In a Friday game, Altamont blanked Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, 13-0 in five innings.
The Indians had 11 hits in the contest led by Bradin Baucum with two singles, a home run and four RBI, Kaden Eirhart with three singles and four RBI, Brayden Stuemke with two singles and two RBI, Mason Robinson with a triple and an RBI, AJ Kopplin with a double and Jack Scott with a double.
Robinson was the winning pitcher on a one-hitter with four walks and nine strikeouts in four innings. Eirhart came on to finish the final inning with one strikeout.
Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg's lone run was by Sam Vonderheide with a double.

South Central played host to Neoga and tallied a 5-0 National Trail Conference win Friday.
The runs came in the first two innings as the Cougars tallied two in the first and three in the second.
Spencer Johannes threw a four-hitter with no walks and 12 strikeouts.
Chase Dodson led offensively with a single, home run and three RBI while Aiden Dodson had a double and Chase Thompson two singles and an RBI.
Neoga had four singles by Kaden Young, Brady Reynolds, Adam Fearday and Isaac Walk.
