Effingham Stt. Anthony had 12 hits in a 9-1 victory over Teutopolis in junior high baseball competition Tuesday.
The Bullpups took a 1-0 first inning lead and T-town tied in the third. St .Anthony then took a 4-1 lead in the bottom of the third and had four in the fifth and one in the sixth.
R. Schmidt led St. Anthony with a single, two doubles and five RBI while A. Lauritzen had four singles and two RBI. J. Trupiano added a double.
T-town was led by Thoele and Tegler with two singles each.
S. Link picked up the pitching win going five innings, allowing four hits, one run, not allowing a walk and striking out four.

At Louisville
Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City took the early lead and downed North Clay (Louisville), 13-3.
CHBC banged out 15 hits in the game led by Conner Nowitzke with two doubles and an RBI, Wyatt Rueff with a single, double and an RBI. Kaidyn Calame chipped in with three singles and an RBI while Kyle Lamb added two singles and three RBI and Hunter Pope and Aiden Wallace had two singles each.
North Clay was led by Trenton Ingram with three singles and an RBI.
CHBC took a 10-1 lead after four innings and tacked on three more in the seventh.
