T-town Beats Windsor/Stew-Stras, 10-2

TEUTOPOLIS -- Teutopolis High School picked up a 10-2 win over Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg in National Trail Conference baseball action Monday.

 

The Wooden Shoes struck first with two runs in the second and led 4-2 in the top of the fourth but added on three more runs in the bottom of the frame. The Shoes finished out with two in the fifth and one in the sixth.

Kayden Althoff picked up the pitching win going three innings allowing three hits, no runs, four walks and striking out six. Althoff had a single, double and an RBI.

Matt Deters had two singles and an RBI while Derek Deters had a triple and two RBI. Mitch Althoff had a single, double and two RBI and Dylan Pruemer two doubles and an RBI.

Windsor/Stew-Stras was led by Gavan Wernsing with a single, double and two RBI and A. Wittenburg with two singles.

T-town will be back in action Wednesday at Paul Smith Field against Effingham St. Anthony, a game that will be carried on KJ Country 102.3.

WindsorStew-Stras will travel to North Clay (Louisville) Friday.
