Neoga Hands Dieterich H.S. Baseball Loss

DIETERICH --  Neoga came calling at Dieterich for a high school baseball contest and took home a 6-1 victory Friday.

The Indians edged out to a 1-0 lead in the second inning, then tacked on two in the third. Dieterich tallied a run in the fourth before Neoga finished out with three in the fifth.

Neoga had eight hits led by Vaughn with two singles and two RBI while Fearday and Staszak had two singles and an RBI each. Young added a double.

Fearday picked up the win on the mound allowing three hits, one run, one walk and striking out three over 3.2 innings.

Dieterich finished with five hits, all singles by Dalton Will, Austin Ruholl, Matthew Hunzinger, Garrett Niebrugge and Noah Dill.
