In the opening contest, T-town fell to Mount Zion, 5-3. T-town fired up the offense in the first inning when Mick Niebrugge grounded into a double play, but still managed to knock in one run. The score was tied at 2-2 going into the fifth and Mount Zion moved ahead 3-2.
Mount Zion scored a run in the top of the sixth and the Shoes answered with one of their own. Alex Kremer singled on a 1-1 count, scoring the T-town run.
Drew Hoene led the Shoes with two hits in four at-bats. Mount Zion had six hits in the game.
In the second contest, Effingham edged Mount Zion 5-4. Mount Zion led 2-0 after three innings but the Mustangs tallied three in the top of the fourth. The Braves tied in the seventh sending the game into extra innings.
The Mustangs came through with the winning run in the ninth. Effingham had nine hits led by C. Webb with a double, R. Pals and P. Rosen with two singles and an RBI each and K. Koeberlein with two singles.
In the third contest, T-town trailed 4-2 after the first inning but tied in the third then had a three-run fourth and never looked back in a 14-5 win over Effingham.
T-town tallied 16 hits in the contest and the Mustangs committed four errors. T-town was led by Dylan Hartman with three hits in five at-bats.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City played host to Effingham Sacred Heart and picked up a 10-7 victory.
CHBC edged out to a 1-0 opening inning lead then had a seven-run third and a two-run fifth.
The winners had 10 hits led by Blake Mueller with a triple and three RBI, Aiden Wallace with two singles and an RBI, Conner Nowitzke with two singles and an RBI, AJ Radloff with two singles and three RBI, Kaidyn Calame with two singles and Kyle Lamb with a single and two RBI.
Sacred Heart was led by Ethan Karolewicz with three singles and an RBI and Landon Wallace with two singles.
