Cubs Drop Loss, White Sox Beat Cardinals

After leading in Sunday's game against Milwaukee, the Cubs dropped another one-run loss, 6-5 to the Brewers, their third consecutive defeat.
The Cubs stepped out to a 3-0 opening inning lead but Milwaukee tied in the third and moved ahead 5-3 in the top of the fifth. But the Cubs rallied with two runs to tie in the bottom of the sixth. The Brewers then won it with a run in the seventh behind a 12 hit attack in the contest.
Chicago has been a hitting machine but had only four Sunday. Steve Souza had a double and drove in two runs while Kyle Schwarber had a single and an RBI, Jason Kipnis a single and two RBI and Ian Happ a single.
White Sox tie Record Against Cardinals
The Chicago White Sox tied an Major League Baseball record Sunday with four consecutive home runs against the St. Louis Cardinals in their 7-2 win, the 10th time in major league history it's been done.
All four homers were hit in the fifth inning off Cardinals reliever Roel Ramirez, who was making his major league debut. Chicago's Yoan Moncada was first with a three-run home run, followed by homers by Yasmani Grandal, Jose Abreu and Eloy Jimenez.
