Cubs' Alec Mills Throws Three-Hitter In Win

CHICAGO -- Chicago's Alec Mills moved his pitching record to 2-0 on the season as the Cubs blanked Kansas City 2-0 at Wrigley Field Monday
Mills went seven innings, allowing three hits, walking three and striking out four. The righthander has taken over in the rotation for Jose Quintana who injured a thumb right before the Summer Camp.
Mills gave up three hits but went through the final 18 batters without allowing a hit.
The Cubs had only four hits led by Kris Bryant with a double and a solo home run. Anthony Rizzo and Ian Happ had a single each.
David Bote and Baez came up with big defensive plays.
The first-place Cubs are now three games ahead of Cincinnati.
