Cubs closer Carlos Marmol could be on the move very soon. Mutiple outlets are reporting the Cubbies could deal the 30-year-old before Opening Day. Several teams have been scouting the reliever, who is scheduled to make close to 10-million-dollars this season. Kyuji Fujikawa is expected to step in as the team's closer if Marmol is dealt.
GLENDALE -- The White Sox played to a four-all tie with Team USA Tuesday in Glendale. Paul Konerko and Gordon Beckham were each 3-for-3 with an RBI in the contest. Gavin Floyd threw two-and-two-thirds innings of two-hit ball in the start. Chicago has today off before heading to Mesa this afternoon to battle its Windy City rival, the Cubs.
