MLB May Hold All Games In One Location

Major League Baseball said Tuesday it's discussed holding all games in one location but hasn't made a decision, after ESPN reported MLB is eyeing playing all games in Arizona without fans as early as May.

Half of the teams have spring training in Arizona and there are 10 spring training ballparks and the Arizona Diamondbacks’ Chase Field within about 50 miles.

 

Cal Ripken Jr. Launches Charity Campaign

Baseball Hall of Famer Cal Ripken Jr. has launched a charity campaign to help feed children and families across the country who are suffering financially during the pandemic.

The Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation has teamed with Ollie’s Bargain Outlet and the Kevin Harvick Foundation to commit $250,000 to the Strike Out Hunger campaign. Ripken holds the “Iron Man” record for most consecutive games played, 2,632.
