A sportswriter for ‘The Los Angeles Times’ has a perfect suggestion for Opening Day for Major League Baseball: the 4th of July. 

 

Bill Shaikin says the idea is being tossed around in “MLB circles.” It will be a while, though, before anybody starts seriously talking about dates.

 

Joe Buck Looking For Games To Announce

With all of sports canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic, Joe Buck doesn’t have any games to announce these days. So he’s looking for other things to do play-by-play for, and did it for a game of beer pong.

 

Dodgers Reach Agreement To Show Games

AT&T and DirecTV have reached an agreement with SportsNet LA to show Los Angeles Dodgers games in the L.A. area for the first time in six years.

Previously, only Spectrum subscribers could watch Dodgers games since the other cable companies in the area did not carry SportsNet LA. The deal extends to Las Vegas and Hawaii as well.
