Orioles' Mancini Undergoes Cancer Surgery

Baltimore Orioles outfielder Trey Mancini underwent surgery Thursday for colon cancer after a tumor was discovered during a colonoscopy last week.

 

The successful surgery removed the malignant tumor. The 27-year-old said in a statement, “The outpouring of love and support I have received has made an extremely tough week so much better.”
