Brewers, Yelich Near Nine-Year Deal

The Milwaukee Brewers and their star outfielder Christian Yelich are near a deal on a nine-year, $215 million contract extension, ‘The Athletic’ first reported Tuesday. The 28-year-old Yelich was the 2018 National League MVP and won his second straight NL batting title last season.
