Houston Astros players Alex Bregman and Jose Altuve  apologized Thursday in brief statements for the team’s scene-stealing scandal during their 2017 championship year. Owner Jim Crane also apologized, and said, “this will never again happen on my watch.”

But when asked if the Astros should keep their World Series title, he said he agreed with MLB having made clear they will keep it, stating, “Our opinion is that this didn't impact the game. We had a good team. We won the World Series and we'll leave it at that.”
