Chad Green Honored Thursday at EHS

Chad Green (second from left) was honored at Effingham High School Thursday evening. EHS has begun placing jerseys of Hearts graduates who are Major League baseball players in the main entryway at EHS. Green was recognized at halftime of the Effingham/Teutopolis Boys Basketball Tournament Thursday evening when the Hearts faced Springfield Sacred Heart-Griffin. With Green are, left to right, former EHS baseball coach Chris Fleener, Green, Steve Boswell and Chris Kreke. Green currently is a pitcher for the New York Yankees.
