The Texas Rangers and Chicago White Sox have agreed on a trade of outfielders. Texas is sending Nomar Mazara to Chicago in exchange for Steele Walker.

 

Rendon, Angels Agree to Deal

Free agent third baseman Anthony Rendon has agreed to a seven-year, $245 million contract with the Los Angeles Angels. The deal includes a full no-trade clause and doesn't contain an opt-out clause.

 

Investigation Into Astros Sign-Stealing Expanded

The Major League Baseball investigation into the Houston Astros sign-stealing scandal has expanded to include the 2018 season. Investigators have spoken to some 70 people about the matter and are combing through more than 70,000 e-mail correspondences and telephone records of Astros personnel.
