Trout, Bellinger Take Baseball's MVP Awards

Baseball’s MVP Awards were an all Los Angeles affair. The Angels’ Mike Trout took home his third AL MVP award, while Dodgers’ slugger Cody Bellinger beat out the Milwaukee Brewers' Christian Yelich for the NL title. 

Braves Shore Up Bullpen

The Atlanta Braves moved to shore up their bullpen Thursday by agreeing to terms with left-hander Will Smith on a three-year, $40 million contract. Smith saved 34 games in 38 chances for the San Francisco Giants last season.
