NTC Baseball Tournament Pairings Announced

The National Trail Conference Baseball Tournament opens play Friday with one game.

North Clay (Louisville) drew the No. 1 seed followed by South Central, Effingham St. Anthony, Altamont, Dieterich Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, Neoga, St. Elmo/Brownstown and Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City.

The opening game Friday features Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City at St. Elmo/Brownstown at 4 p.m. The opening round games are played at the higher seed.

Monday's opening games feature the winner of Friday's game against top-seeded North Clay, Dieterich at Altamont, Neoga at South Central and Windsor/Stew-Stras at St. Anthony, all at four p.m.

The tournament continues Wednesday, October 9 with two games and will finish out with the third place and championship games at St. Anthony Friday, October 11 at 4 and 7 p.m.

Monday, October 7

Game 2 -- Winner Game 1 at North Clay, 4 p.m.

Game 3 -- Dieterich at Altamont, 4 p.m.

Game 4 -- Neoga at South Central, 4 p.m.

Game 5 -- Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg at St. Anthony

Game 6 -- Winner Game 2 vs. Winner Game 3, 4 p.m.

Game 7 -- Winner Game 4 vs. Winner Game 5, 4 p.m.

Friday, October 11

At St. Anthony

Game 8 -- Loser Game 6 vs. Loser Game 7, 4 p.m. (third place)

Game 9 -- Winner Game 6 vs. Winner Game 7, 7 p.m. (championship)
