Twins Clinch AL Central Title

The Minnesota Twins clinched their first AL Central title since 2010 with their 5-1 win over Detroit last night and Cleveland’s loss to the Chicago White Sox.

Minnesota Twins reliever Sam Dyson had season-ending surgery on his shoulder this week. They say it could be a year before he can pitch again, putting his 2020 season in doubt.

German Leave Extends Through W.S.

If the New York Yankees make it to the World Series they’ll have to do it without pitcher Domingo Germán. Major League Baseball has extended German’s administrative leave through the World Series as he’s being investigated for an alleged domestic violence incident involving his girlfriend last week.
